Constipation and Indigestion

Constipation is a bowel dysfunction in which bowel movements get delayed. Constipation is usually accompanied by indigestion. Lack of fiber in the diet, dehydration, inability of the body to digest food, zero workout, smoking, or poor lifestyle choices can result in constipation. A person who faces constipation finds it difficult to empty GUT resulting in dry, hard stools that are extremely painful or difficult to pass. Medically speaking, an adult who could not have a bowel movement for 3 days in a week is considered constipated.
